“We booked two nights and stayed five. The sauna at the water’s edge is the reason, and the breakfast is the excuse.”

Good to know

Is the lodge open all year?

Yes. Snow Camp opens December to March, and the boathouse runs May to September. Everything else is open every week of the year.

Can I bring children?

Children over eight are welcome in the Fjord Loft and Chapel House. Snow Camp and the spa are for adults.

Do I need to book treatments ahead?

The sauna is always open to guests. Massages and the rose clay ritual are best booked when you reserve your room.

What if the ferry is cancelled?

It happens a few times each winter. We move your stay by a night at no cost, or arrange a car around the fjord.

Plan your stay

Open all year. Two-night minimum in July. Nothing is charged until we confirm.
